the principle of interconnectedness

the statement below was Written on Friday December 4, 2020 during a Spiritual Ecology Course with Emergence Magazine. Session 2 had us reflect on 4 Principles of Spiritual Ecology: reverence, interconnectedness, stewardship, and service. they asked us to Explore relational thinking by writing one paragraph about ourselves without using the nouns: I/me/my/mine. i invite you to do the same, it’s juicy!

what came through:

a warm belly - belly full of generosity - held in abundance - receiving gifts - messages from the unknown - the other side - silent frequencies occupying Quiet spaces - held by garments woven by hands that express love and pain, longing and belonging - care and futures told + possible. hair tracing mother’s lineage. face of ancestors past. containing seeds of descendants - warriors - dreamers - all of us. imagining. the gift of being imagined. rooted + rooting and remembering the gift that is embodiment - the gift that is not knowing, and not having to know. the memory of life as play, as creation, as magic. releasing holds on / resistance / separation / othering. Calling towards what is bigger than all of us - more divine than words can express, so beyond the mind, so deeply embedded in heart - a flower - dying, and beautiful.
